The Broken Skylines

This album has taken a while. Working at a pace of about a couple of songs a month, I've been able to create more ambient and serene soundscapes, with more layers and intricacy. The sound of this album is noticably less manic that the works from previous albums, creating a proper flow through the album. As each album surpasses the last, this one pushes further forward than any other. Usually when I reflect on an album, with a reasonable amount of hindsight, I realise how filled with flaws the songs are. Graphic Design was, well, rubbish. Lorem Ipsum, I actually kind of enjoyed, but it wasn't really well thought out. Symbolism was hit and miss. Lets see how time fares on this one. I think this one might just be the first one I can say I really like.

P.S. - Kickball & Proudhead were previously released on the Post Order EP, Kickball. Originally intended for this album, they were the first tracks created and fit perfectly in the Post Order EP (postorder.bandcamp.com), when every track was taking so long that it didn't feel like this album was going to happen. Well, it has, and now finally they are where they belong.
